Culinary Partners

Dear Foodies,

For five years, we – the eat-the-world team – have been organizing our food and culture tours. What started in Berlin in 2008 is now also in Cologne, Dresden, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Münster, with more cities to follow this year. To celebrate our fifth anniversary, we are organizing a special event:  on May 11, 2013, we are hosting the first Long Night of Cuisine and are really excited to celebrate it with you.

We would like to celebrate our anniversary in Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, the first two districts where we started our food and culture tours. What does Berlin taste like? On May 11, you can find out! Carefully selected and mostly owner-run culinary businesses in Berlin-Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg will open their doors late for foodies and gourmands from 6 p.m. to midnight. Small restaurants, cozy cafés, original snack bars and exclusive shops will introduce themselves with delicious food samples for a small price and an exciting program that’s all about food. The entrance is free for all visitors, so we cordially invite you to spoil your palate as you explore the food of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, and discover the culinary diversity of Berlin.

We want to thank all of our culinary partners, our partner Slow Food Berlin, the district newspapers „Der Kreuzberger“, „Kreuzberger Chronik“ , „Friedrichshainer Chronik“ and the radio station Flux Radio for their collaboration and support of the Long Night of Cuisine 2013.

Have fun and spoil your senses!

Elke Freimuth and Katrin Buck
